Robb Stark A Song of Ice and Fire Brother. Hero. King.
Bran's oldest true-born brother, and the King in the North. Despite their great love for each other, the two have been clashing heads for months on end here in the Fleet. Robb is bound to duty and honor, two pillars of their Tully blood, and when Bran's illicit supernatural abilities came to light, the resulting argument nearly broke their bond apart. It took Bran accidentally revealing his brother's dire fate back home to bring all of the siblings back together.
Out of all the Starks, Bran is likely the most similar to Robb. They both share their mother's bright hair and fierce stubbornness, and they can both be utter infants sometimes.
Sansa Stark A Song of Ice and Fire Sister. Comforter. Captive.
Bran's eldest sister. She journeyed to King's Landing while Bran was still in a coma, and the two have yet to meet again back in Westeros. The last he heard of Sansa there, she was being held captive by the same despicable family who cost Bran his legs. They haven't spoken of it.
Sansa has always been gentle and mild-mannered, with beautiful stitches and excellent stories, and Bran loved her best growing up. She's even quieter now, though, with all the horrors of home and the frightening unfamiliarities of space. Bran would do anything to protect her, if he could.
Jon Snow A Song of Ice and Fire Brother. Hero. Crow.
Bran's half-brother in blood, but true-born in heart. He pictures Jon patrolling the wall with a giant sword in hand, defending the North just as bravely as Robb, and would likely refuse to believe otherwise. The two have always had their own bond, despite Lady Catelyn's coldness towards the bastard Snow, and Bran laments that his story about seeking safety with Jon after the siege of Winterfell was just a lie.
Arya Stark A Song of Ice and Fire Sister. Playmate. Missing.
Though Arya was born two years before Bran, she arrived in the Fleet small and bright-eyed and only months older than him. This doesn't change their dynamic, as she will always be the firecracker older sister who beats him at swordplay and throws food at feasts. After witnessing so many horrors, though, Bran feels an instinctive need to protect her, more than he ever did growing up. Arya is strong as a giantess - but so was Robb.
Theon Greyjoy A Song of Ice and Fire Family Traitor.
A ward from the Iron Islands, taken on years before Bran was born. He was always there, growing up, but Bran never considered the fact the boy might not think of the Starks as family. It wasn't until Theon took Winterfell for himself in a quick, tragic coup that he realized the boy's warring sentiments.
Bran doesn't hate Theon, because he's too tired and scared for hatred towards someone he once loved. What he feels towards him is closer to anger, mixed with fear and shame. He'll never forgive Theon for the deaths he caused, but he could never wish death upon him in turn. He just wishes he had been strong enough to stop all of it before it happened.
Toph Bei Fong Avatar: The Last Airbender Crewmate. Protector. Best Friend.
Bran and Toph met on the Marsiva, and through their bickering and teasing somehow became fast friends. He agreed to transfer onto the Blue Fish in part because she was on the crew. Toph would actually punch faces for him, and even though she doesn't always mesh with his siblings, she tries. At this point, he loves and trusts her as family. She doesn't let her blindness stop her from doing anything, and that's an inspiration to Bran as he comes to accept that he may never walk normally again. He knows Toph would never let him give him up himself.
Yamanaka Ino Naruto Ninja. Protector. Surrogate mother.
Ino quickly scooped up Bran as a sort of adopted son, and he grew similarly reliant on her acceptance and protection. She has similar abilities to his warging, and helped him grow to accept his powers as a normal part of himself. This did lead to conflicts with Robb later on, however, and Bran was distressed to find that he trusts Ino more with his problems than he does his own siblings. She's fiercely protective of him, against all conflict, and he dreams about one day being able to protect people as well as her.
Allen Walker D. Gray-man Crewmate. Protector. Friend.
The first mate of the Blue Fish, and Bran's unofficial uncle. Allen is Ino's best friend, and while he has no special love for children, it's thanks to him that Bran transferred ships to begin with. Allen disliked the kid's enthusiasm for battle - incidentally, said enthusiasm was just a front to hide Bran's fear and confusion at witnessing his first gunfight. In the months since the two have gone from skirting around one another, to nearly interacting as friends. Bran could almost apologize for getting Allen involved in the drama of Westerosi politics. Almost.
Dr. Beverly Crusher Star Trek Crewmate. Doctor. Friend.
Though he was at first horrified by Toph's tales of the blood-stealing Doctor Crusher, Bran quickly learned that she was just pulling his leg. Beverly Crusher is a delightful, comforting presence on the Blue Fish, and she frequently reminds Bran of his own mother, with her kind smile and bright hair. Most importantly, she helps clear up some of the frightening confusion of this future world, explaining things such as "toothpaste" to him.
Sokka Avatar: The Last Airbender Captain. Warrior. Ally.
The captain of the Blue Fish, and an all-around great guy. Bran doesn't know him all that well, but he's forever indebted to him for allowing the Starks to take refuge together on his ship. Plus, he's fun and uses cool weapons, and he's Toph's friend from home. That makes him plenty okay.
Uncle Al's "boyfriend", and the captain of the Vanquish. Bran is only somewhat acquainted with him, but so far thinks that he's pretty cool. And if he's Allen's suitor, then he must be alright. Hopefully they'll get to know each other better in the future.
